MASSOC PRE-DEPARTURE BRIEFING 2015
Held at the Gardens Lifestyle Cafe, Midvalley KL, freshers had the opportunity to ask seniors various questions about student life at
the University of Sheffield, along with other general enquiries.
FRESHERS WELCOMING PARTY 2015
A super fun and interactive social session between members, especially for the freshers. They had the opportunity to get along with their peers and also seniors through ice-breaker games, over some light refreshments
MASSOC GOES WALKING 2015
A guided walking tour, introducing the freshers to the many iconic and convenient places of Sheffield City Centre. This event ended with a scrumptious
dim-sum brunch at Wong-Ting Restaurant, Sheffield.
MASSOC GOES TO STANAGE EDGE 2015
With the Peak District National Park a stone's throw away from us, MASSOC organised a hiking trip to Stanage Edge, a famous hiking location overlooking Sheffield and the shooting site for the film "Pride and Prejudice" starring Keira Knightley.
MASSOC HALLOWEEN SOCIAL

A themed social event, with members dressing up as their favourite Halloween characters. Prizes were given out to the best-dressed person of the night.

TASTE OF UNITY
A cultural night accompanied with delicious Malaysian food, DeepaRaya Open House brought all Sheffield Malaysians together to celebrate Deepavali and Hari Raya Aidilfitri under one roof.

BIRMINGHAM CHRISTMAS MARKET 2015
Birminghan's Frankfurt Christmas Market is the largest authentic German Christmas market outside Germany and Austria. This was one of MASSOC's local UK day trip. MASSOC members had the opportunity to explore around this market and the city, and enjoy that Chrismassy feel!
MASSOC CHINESE NEW YEAR DINNER 2016

A home-away-from-home reunion dinner with fellow MASSOC members, accompanied by performances and prize-winning games.
MASSOC POTLUCK 2015
Members showed off their culinary skills by presenting their best dishes to other fellow members. Candidates running for the MASSOC committee election also took this opportunity to obtain committee job insights from the seniors.

INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL EVENING 2016
ICE is a cultural event organised yearly by the University. In its 44th year, MASSOC and SMSA collaborated to showcase the world with our vibrant and diverse Malaysian culture.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2016/17
MASSOC AGM was held on 9th of March 2016 with presentation of annual reports by the outgoing committee and the election of incoming committee.

Oscar Themed
The most anticipated event of every year,
this year's D&D featured the Academy Award
complete with popcorn cart, human-sized Oscar figures, photobooth and many joy and laughters.
