MASSOC

Voted as the Best National Society 2011/12, and shortlisted as one of the top 4 Best Society of the Year, MASSOC is one of the biggest national society in the University of Sheffield, actively representing Malaysians and Singaporeans for almost 50 YEARS since 1965.

It was created with the purpose of

• providing a sense of familiarity for students away from home and

• to aid in their integration into the overseas community.

The society welcomes anyone of any nationality to join.

In each academic year, MASSOC aims to organise the following events:

- 3 Day Trips within the United Kingdom

- 1 International Trip

- Annual Dinner and Dance

- Deeparaya Open House

- Chinese New Year Dinner

along with many more social events!

MASSOC also organises competitive and social sports activities to cater for its members needs. 

These include Frisbee, Futsal, Basketball, Football, Netball, Rock Climbing and Badminton
